Tax relief

In case you are undergoing orthodontic treatment that is not part of your regular healthcare, you have the option to request a tax relief of 20%, just as you would for medical expenses. To claim this relief, you will need to complete a Med 1 form and request a Med 2 form from our practice to verify your payments.

Although you don’t have to submit your Med 2 form or receipts to Revenue, it’s advisable to keep them for 6 years, as there is a chance that you may be required to present them at any point during this period.
