What is Dental Monitoring?
Dental Monitoring is a revolutionary app for your smartphone that allows your Specialist Orthodontist to track your aligner treatment progress remotely. Instead of coming in for appointments, you’ll just send us weekly smile selfies through the app.
We will review your photos, and as long as they match up with your projected treatment progress, we won’t need to see you at our practice!
How does Dental Monitoring work?
When you sign up for aligner treatment with us, we will make an accurate digital model of your smile using our 3D scanner. This model will be used to plan your custom treatment, and will give us a reference during your virtual check-ins.
Based on your treatment programme, we’ll know exactly what to expect from your smile at every step of treatment. As long as everything looks good, we won’t need to see you in person. In fact, if your teeth are moving faster than expected, we can switch you to a new set of aligners early!
